Hotel & Air Fare Tips

Key West International Airport is centrally located and an easy uber or taxi from Old Town/Duval Street, Key West. If you are finding that airfare is too pricey try Miami International and as an absolute furtherst option, Fort Lauderdale Internationl Airport. From MIA & FLL you will need to rent a car as it is about a 3-4 hour ride to Key West. If you have the time, we highly recommend you do this drive if you havent already- 7 Mile Bridge is well worth it.

Ambrosia, Bed and Breakfast

This little treasure is the very first place that we stayed when we visited Key West on our first vacation as a couple. (Its Ellie approved, shes been and says its awesome). It is adorable, cozy and has everything you need at an affordable price. This one is further from the cermony & reception venue but remember all of Key West is 1.5 Miles wide so nothing is THAT far.

Casa Marina Resort, A Waldorf Astoria

The Casa Marina Resort is the location of our Wedding Ceremony & Reception. If you plan on booking your stay here, wait until a few months prior as prices will likely drop a bit. We stayed here a few months before Jason proposed and during our stay we saw a wedding being set up which has now become the inspriation behind our dream of getting married here.

Southern Point Guest House

We have never stayed here but it does come highly recommended from EVERYONE we speak to and we have walked by and can say it is gorgeous place in a great location. It is an easy, pretty walk to our wedding venue and all else Key West has to offer. If this is where your thinking its better to book sooner - it is smaller and has limited rooms so it will sell out.

Hotel Tonight

For those who live on the edge: Hotel Tonight is an amazing app that provides hotel accomodations as early as 100 days prior to hotel check in date. We ALWAYS find the very best deals using this app, especically in the keys we recommend checking it out if your looking for the best deal in town.
